Did his Gastroenterology and Hepatology training at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences where he worked as a trainee and there after as a research officer from 2000 to 2008. He also worked as a fellow of the Japanese Society of Gastroenterology, for three months at Kinki University, Osaka, Japan, where he was trained in the management of Liver cancer. There after, he worked as an Assistant Professor of Hepatology at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, New Delhi. Before Joining Artemis Hospital , he worked for 5 years as a Senior Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at the Medanta-The Medicity Hospital.

  • ISG-Alkem-Omprakash memorial award for 2008 for research work carried out by a young gastroenterologist in India.
  • AASLD-APASL award at the annual conference of Asian Pacific Association for the Study of Liver, which was held at Seoul, Korea in March 2008, for the research paper “Cirrhosis may be reversible with treatment of etiology: evidence based on paired liver biopsies”.

  • Transplant Hepatology: Managment of all liver failures patietns pre-transplant and long term post-transplant management.
  • Gastroenterology and Endoscopy: Managment of all other gastrointestinal ailments including all forms of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies and ERCPs.
