I think, most of the people have heard about the term HIV. What is HIV? Well, HIV stands for human immuno deficiency virus. HIV is an infection which can be cured if person get diagnosed on time. Other symptoms are fatigue, fever, loss of appetite, night sweats, nausea, persistent diarrhea, vomiting, mouth ulcers and white tongue, throat soreness and difficulty in swelling. Some people confuse the symptoms with those of the flu. Yet if you are feeling some of these changes in your body, then you should immediately visit your doctor.
It is mostly caused by unprotected sex with the person suffering from HIV. It is also caused by sharing drug needles with some HIV positive person. And one of the most common way is from a mother to her baby during pregnancy, birth or breast feeding. It is medically treated by combination of medicines called antiretroviral therapy or art.
